Argentina, where the
six continents meet.
It is needless to say that it is this
country’s customs, history, music, cities and landscapes what
make Argentina a mythical
place. Argentina embraces in it all you can find in nature. Among
its 23 provinces you can find continental ices, mountains almost
never seen by men, cities inhabited by happy and enthusiastic
citizens, roads that seem to take you to heaven, all year long
snowcapped mountain ranges, and even aborigine communities that
have remained faithful to their millenary customs.
That
is how Argentina is: dreamy,
romantic, hospitable, alive… just as its capital city, Buenos
Aires. The history of this city is very much linked to Corrientes
Avenue, the place where Carlos Gardel –El Zorzal- first sang his
melodies and where many Hispanic stars were applauded. More than
three million people walk it daily, and at night, the lights are
the stars in the street that defines this city so well.
There
are two kinds of Argentine
mountains: snowy mountains, perfect for those who seek adventure,
and dry sloped but very relaxing mountains, such as the ones in
the Northwest.
